General Terms and Conditions.
The purpose of this document is to regulate the GENERAL TERMS AND/OR CONDITIONS of the (on-line) Reservation by a guest and the Stay of a guest in the premises operated under the name CASA DEL CARDENAL (premises hereinafter referred to as CdC) operated by the company GEODA Córdoba S.L. as well as the Services provided in relation to the same by the company GEODA Córdoba, S.L. with registered office at Calle Corregidor Luis de la Cerda 61, 14002 Córdoba, constituted by deed of incorporation granted before the Notary of Córdoba, Mr. Rafael Díaz-Vieito, on 21 September 2021, and registered in the Mercantile Register of Córdoba, Volume 2814, Folio 91, Page number 2814 and with Tax Identification Code no. [C.I.F]B-1694962, (hereinafter GEODA or referred to as “we”), Tel. [957947094] and e-mail info@casadelcardenal.com.
The terms “You” and “User” are used here to refer to any natural and/or legal person who for any reason enters the premises managed by Geoda at Calle Corregidor Luis de la Cerda 61/ Calle Cardenal González 63, 14002 Córdoba, Spain or accesses http://www.casadelcardenal.com or uses Geoda’s services in any other way.
Entry into the Premises, use of the online booking system, use of these services presupposes the full and unconditional acceptance and validity of each and every one of the General Terms and/or Conditions (which shall be deemed to be automatically incorporated into the contract entered into with GEODA without the need for a written transcription thereof) included in the latest updated version of these General Terms and/or Conditions.
1 – Reservations and payments.
Your Reservation will be considered valid once you have received an email confirming the details of your stay (reservation number, date of arrival and departure, number of guests and rooms.
In addition, your booking must be accompanied by the sending of your credit card details (or other agreed payment method) in order to make a valid reservation for and/or charge the total amount due for your Stay at the time your booking becomes irreversible. Except in the event that different conditions have been indicated, either on the CasadelCardenal website or through different sales platforms, the collection of the amount to be charged will be made 48 hours before the date of your arrival.
Methods of payment.
We accept payment by debit or credit card, VISA or Mastercard, Amex.
VAT
All prices quoted on our website or any other sales platform for rooms and services at Casa Del Cardenal include VAT (IVA in Spain). If VAT rates change, we reserve the right to modify our prices accordingly.
Children.
Accommodation for babies up to 3 years old is free of charge. If you require a baby cot you must request availability and price at the time of booking.
Children and minors must always be accompanied by adults who have made the corresponding Reservation. Geoda accepts no responsibility for damage, accidents or other occasions caused and/or incurred by unaccompanied minors.
Pets.
Pets are not allowed in general. However, please consult the possibility in your specific case.
Smoking.
Smoking is not permitted throughout the building.
Parking.
CdC has two parking spaces in another building nearby. You could ask to reserve one or two of them for a daily fee of 20€. Geoda is not responsible for any damage caused to your vehicle when entering or leaving our car park, as you will park it yourself.
Change or cancelation of your Reservation.
We do not expect to have to make changes to your Reservation, however, sometimes problems occur and Reservations have to be changed or cancelled. We will only change or cancel your Reservation, if necessary, to carry out or complete essential repair or renovation work, or for other reasons unforeseen at the time you made your booking, which are beyond our reasonable control.
If we have to change or cancel your Reservation, we will use all reasonable endeavours to offer you a suitable alternative accommodation. If we are unable to offer you a suitable alternative, or if you do not accept the alternative, we will refund the full amount you paid to us for the Reservation. Geoda will have no further liability for any other loss you may suffer.
3 – Arrivals / Departures.
Arrivals.
CdC does not dispose of a 24-hour reception service. Therefore please provide us with your best estimate of your arrival time. Arrivals take place between 16:00 and 21:00. If guests arrive earlier, we will do our best to store their luggage until they enter the room, but we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. For arrivals after 21:00 hours, please advise in advance and see how best to facilitate arrival.
Departures.
As a general rule, check-out must be effected before 12:00. If guests wish, subject to staff approval, we will try again to store their luggage in our reception area, but we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to it.
At GEODA’s discretion, where possible, late check-ins and late check-outs will be permitted.
4 – Cleanliness.
GEODA applies optimal hygienic conditions for the room, with its staff (or external staff) carrying out a thorough cleaning and disinfection before the arrival of the guests and after their departure. In addition, if the work schedule permits, a courtesy cleaning will be carried out and beds will be made daily. Stays of more than 3 nights include a change of bed linen and towels. Should you require additional changes of bed linen, please inform staff. With regard to towels, in the interests of environmental conservation, you are kindly requested not to throw them on the floor for replacement unless absolutely necessary.
5 – Courtesy to others.
In consideration of other guests and neighbors, respect for those who wish to sleep is expected. For this reason, please do not raise your voice or make music or other noises after 23:00h and leave the bar and outdoor spaces such as terrace and patio at 24:00h until 08:00h. Parties or other acts that create disturbances and/or disturbances are strictly forbidden unless specifically authorised.
6 – Liability.
GEODA is not responsible for any damage incurred by guests, losses, theft or accidents inside or outside the room.
GEODA cannot be held responsible for the supply of water, electricity and/or loss of telephone or internet.
Each room is provided with an inventory list. GEODA reserves the right to claim compensation for loss of goods and damages to goods or building at CdC caused by guests. For such compensation, we may charge the corresponding amount to the guest’s credit card.
7 – Our access rights.
Apart from daily housekeeping services, our staff or third parties contracted by GEODA may need to access your room if there is an unforeseen problem, investigate a complaint you have made or carry out certain routine checks.
8. Use of other spaces within the house.
CdC consists of more spaces than the room booked by you. Clearly all use of the house in order to reach your room is at your full availability. The use of and access to other rooms, terraces, cellars, bar and lounges is only allowed when permitted/offered by GEODA staff and/or when contracted by you.
9- Our right to vacate.
We may terminate our contract with you and ask you to leave your accommodation immediately (without you having to pay any compensation) if:
– We consider that you or your company have committed a breach of these conditions;
– We consider that your or your company’s behaviour puts the safety and/or well being of our other clients and visitors or staff at risk;
– Complaints of anti-social or unacceptable behaviour are made against you or your company;
– You or your company cause irreparable damage to GEODA, goods, building or reputation; or
– Exceeds the maximum occupancy time of your accommodation.
Failing to comply with instructions to vacate the room and leave the premises will result in staff contacting competent authorities. Any cost related to this process will be for the account of the client and charged the debit or credit card.
10 – Events beyond our control.
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these terms and conditions caused by an event beyond our control.
An event beyond our control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, strikes or industrial action by others, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war or threat of war, civil commotion, riot, invasion or failure of public or private telecommunications networks.
11 – Miscellaneous.
Guests may not use the rooms for commercial or immoral purposes.
GEODA reserves the right to modify at any time the information contained on its website for online bookings and is the sole owner of its content.
In the event that guests have requested a specific room, every effort will be made to meet their wishes, but we reserve the right to change the room initially allocated.
These terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.
12 – If you have a problem or complaint.
We take great care to ensure that the premises and services are of a high standard. However, if you have a problem with your room, please contact us immediately and give us the opportunity to resolve it. Please contact our team on <957947094> or email info@casadelcardenal.com. We will work with you to ensure that all complaints are investigated and resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible.

13 – Data protection.
Confidentiality and secrecy of all personal information provided by guests will be maintained. Data is entered into GEODA’s system for booking and contact information. In accordance with European data protection legislation, guests can rectify or cancel their data whenever they wish to do so. If you have any questions or need additional information on this subject, please contact GEODA at info@casadelcardenal.com.
These personal data (including vehicle number plates) may be disclosed to third parties for the sole purpose of the proper provision of the services offered by GEODA, mainly in connection with concierge services or to the authorities for compliance with and the enforcement of local and state laws and regulations.
Users who make their personal data available have at all times the right to access the file and exercise their rights of rectification, cancellation and opposition under the terms and conditions provided for in the data protection legislation. Likewise, the user’s consent to the processing and transfer of their personal data may be revoked at any time without retroactive effect, in accordance with the provisions of articles 6 and 11 of Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data.
For these purposes, it will be sufficient for the user to contact GEODA by sending an email to info@casadelcardenal.com. Users are responsible, in any case, for the truthfulness, accuracy, validity and authenticity of the Personal Data provided and undertake to keep them duly updated.
GEODA’s services are not intended for use by minors and GEODA does not request or collect information relating to minors except from minors of 16 years and older, whose personal information in accordance with local regulations must be provided to local authorities.
Where you provide us with personal data related to a different data subject, you are responsible for such acts and for obtaining the respective consent of such data subjects for the provision of their data.
Processor:
We engage our partner RoomRaccoonB.V. (www.roomraccoon.es) to run the booking engine for our business. Your personal data will also be collected by the RoomRaccoon system. RoomRaccoon acts under our authority and we have entered into a contract with RoomRaccoon for the provision of their services. We have instructed RoomRaccoon in writing how the processing is to be carried out.

Article 1 – Definitions
1. Website (hereinafter: “www.casadelcardenal.com “) RoomRaccoon. Booking engine used for CdC operated by Geoda.
2. Controller of the personal data (hereinafter: “the Controller”): RoomRaccoon, domiciled at Keizerstraat 15, 4811 HL Breda, The Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number 67848540 .
Article 2 – Responsibilities
1. The controller is not liable for failures, disturbances, difficulties or interruptions in the operation of the website causing the (temporary) inaccessibility of the website or any of its functionalities.
1. You are responsible for the way in which you connect to our website. You must take all appropriate measures to protect your computer and data against dangers such as virus attacks on the Internet. In addition, you are responsible for the websites you visit and the information you search for.
2. The controller is not liable for legal action taken against you:
a.i. for the use of the website or services accessible via the Internet
a.ii. for breaching the terms of this privacy policy
3. The controller is not liable for any damage that occurs either to you, third parties or your equipment as a result of your connection to or use of the website and you will refrain from any subsequent (legal) action against the controller.
4. If the controller becomes involved in litigation due to your (ab)use of this website, you are entitled to (re)claim all subsequent damages from the controller.
Article 3 – Collection of data
1. Your personal data will be collected by RoomRaccoon and by one or more third party processors.
2. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”).
3. An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
4. The personal data collected on the website are primarily used by the controller to maintain a (business) relationship with you and, where appropriate, to process your orders. They are recorded in an (electronic) register.
Article 4 – Your information rights
1. Pursuant to Article 13(2)(b) of the GDPR, each data subject has the right to information, access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of his or her personal data, as well as the right to object to processing and the right to data portability.
2. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at info@roomraccoon.com.
3. Each request must be accompanied by a copy of a valid identity document, bearing your signature and indicating the address at which we can contact you.
4. You will receive a reply from us within one month of submitting your request.
5. Depending on the complexity and number of requests, this period may be extended to two months.
Article 5 – Data retention
The data collected are used and kept for the period of time determined by law.
Article 6 – Applicable law
These conditions are governed by Dutch law. The court of the district in which the controller has its registered office has sole jurisdiction in the event of any dispute arising in connection with these conditions, unless a legal exception applies.
